Alpha at the Care Centre
BCM's Care Centre Manager, Phil Ansell reports on their new Alpha course attracting good numbers who come to explore life's big questions.

We are so encouraged to now have an Alpha course running every Thursday at the Care Centre.
Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Bear Grylls, the TV adventurer said, 'Alpha was the best thing I ever did. It helped me answer some huge questions and find a simple faith in my life.'

There have been between 12 and 20 people attending each session so far, with searching questions being asked after each one. We have explored questions such as 'Is there more to life than this?', 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why did Jesus die?'Our hope is that the sessions will help people see who Jesus is and give their lives to him.
Please pray for the guests attending the Care Centre's Alpha course, that they will come to know Jesus personally. Pray too for the development of our carpentry workshop and that those taking part feel a sense of value and self-worth.
The Care Centre's kitchen staff continue to prepare meals each day to a high standard. As a taster, pictured right is the delicious dessert baked for a special Valentine's Day celebration!
